Dog Health - Chocolate Poisoning
We've all heard it: "dogs are allergic to chocolate." Actually, that's not such a bad way to think of it, and keeping your dog away from any and all chocolate is a must. But it is a good idea to understand the problem dogs have with chocolate, so you can be prepared in case there is a problem.

It's actually not an "allergy." As you know, chocolate contains caffeine. But it also contains a related compound called theobromine, and this is what dogs are very sensitive to. Symptoms of theobromine poisoning include obvious...

This is one of the neatest dog beds we've seen in a while! Just like the classic Murphy bed for us humans, this dog version folds down to reveal a comfy dog bed, then folds up against the wall when not in use. 1. First, you have to understand that many puppies that have a biting...

Although its natural instinct is to hunt, it is highly adaptable and adjusts happily to a suburban backyard, as long as it has regular exercise to keep it fit while providing it with a change of scene, scent, and company - either human or another companion pet. Many families that own Beagles actually own two...

Reader's Story - Lulu the Microsurgeon
Lulu was our first rescue Bulldog, and the joy she brought into our lives was immeasurable. There are many fond memories we have of her... she was always the clown, and she was unbelievably clever when it came to doing things behind our backs. Advertising Information

KibbleChat is published every 4-6 weeks, and is sent as an HTML email newsletter to opt-in subscribers. Current circulation is approximately 40,000. Advertising is available, as outlined above, in graphic image format (GIF or JPG), standardized to 150 x 150 pixel blocks. Rates differ based on placement within the newsletter, and rates are quoted as CPM (cost per thousand impressions). As an estimate of total cost for a single issue, multiply the CPM cost by 40 (as there are approximately 40,000 subscribers). Please note that our newsletter distribution server does track the exact number that are actually received, and the cost billed will be based on that number, so it may vary slightly.

Multiple consecutive blocks may be combined into taller "tower" ads. Please email for a pricing quote for multi-block ads.

Advertising will be billed within 7 days of newsletter publication, and terms are net 30. Billing will be via emailed invoice; paper "snail mail" invoices are available, but will incur a $3 processing fee. New advertising accounts require a $50 advance deposit, which will be fully applied to the first bill.
